Privacy Policy

Stereotek (“we”, “us”) operates the website stereotek.net and the Stereotek iOS application. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

The Stereotek iOS app

The app requires no account and collects no personal information by default.

  • Product catalog. The catalog of our integration disciplines and brands is bundled inside the app and works offline. Browsing it sends no data to our servers.
  • Showroom visits. When you book a showroom visit, the details you enter (name, date, time, topic of interest) are stored only on your device. If you choose “Add to my calendar”, the appointment is written to your device calendar using Apple’s EventKit — with your explicit permission — and never leaves your device. We do not receive a copy. If you choose to send the request to our showroom, WhatsApp opens on your device with a message you review and send yourself.
  • Notifications. Push notifications are optional and off until you explicitly enable them. If you enable them, Apple assigns your device an anonymous push token that we use solely to deliver notifications about product arrivals, showroom events, and project updates. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Contacting us. The call, WhatsApp, maps, and email buttons open the corresponding apps on your device. Any information you share through those channels is governed by those services’ own privacy policies.

The website (stereotek.net)

When you open our website — including from the “Website” tab inside the app, which displays it in an in-app browser — standard web technologies apply:

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic (pages visited, approximate location by city, device type). This data is collected via cookies, is not used to identify you personally, and is processed by Google under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, retained for a limited time.
  • Contact forms. If you submit a form on the site, we receive the details you provide (such as name, email, and message) and use them only to respond to your inquiry.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
  • We do not use the app to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs.

Your choices and rights

You can revoke calendar or notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings › Stereotek. You can browse the website with cookies disabled or using your browser’s private mode. To ask what information we hold about you from an inquiry, or to request its deletion, contact us at info@stereotek.net.

Children

The Stereotek app and website are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
